What happens after you write

The reply comes back in the same conversation, so there is no phone call to brace for and no letter to wait for.
Some questions are answered fully in the conversation. If a visit makes sense, it is arranged at your pace, and only with your agreement.

What happens at the first check
If you do come in, the first visit has two jobs: finding out whether this is actually piles, and finding the least disruptive treatment for your grade.
It starts with a private conversation. An examination follows only if you agree, and it is gentler than most people expect. Because bleeding can also come from polyps or other bowel conditions, it is checked rather than assumed.
