The surgeon's fee is one of three parts of a surgical bill. The anaesthetist's fee and the day-surgery fee are billed separately, and the clinic puts all three in your written estimate.

Paying for piles treatment with Medisave and insurance
Surgical piles procedures are day surgery, and MediSave can be used for them within limits set by MOH and your own MediSave balance. The clinic confirms your eligibility. Integrated Shield Plans commonly cover the rest of a day-surgery admission, subject to your deductible and co-insurance.
