What this site collects, and what it does with it.

Short version: the site collects your details only when you use the contact form, and they are used to reply to you and nothing else.

What the contact form collects

The contact form on the contact page asks for three things: your name, so the clinic knows who it is replying to; your mobile number, which is how the clinic replies; and what your enquiry is about. That last one is health information, and it is treated that way. It is used to route your enquiry and prepare for your consultation. It is not used for advertising, and it is not sold.

The form does not ask for your NRIC, your address, your date of birth or any payment details, and you should not put them in it. If the clinic needs those for your care, it will collect them directly.

What happens when you press the button

Your enquiry is recorded so the clinic can respond to it, and your browser then opens WhatsApp with your message written out. The record is held by Akros Consultancy, which runs this website and the clinic's enquiry system on the practice's behalf, and is used only for that purpose. Once you are in WhatsApp, the conversation is also governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. If your enquiry is about cost, the message also asks for your insurer's name and your plan's name. This is collected only to work out your cash estimate.

This site sets no cookies and runs no website analytics. If you arrive from an advertisement, the link can carry a reference number that lets the clinic count your enquiry against that advertisement. Your browser keeps that number for up to 90 days and sends it with your enquiry. It is a number, not a name.

Who else sees your information

The clinic and its staff, so they can answer you and treat you. Akros Consultancy, which operates this website and the enquiry system for the practice. WhatsApp, because the conversation continues there, on the number you provide. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, for example to a court, a regulator, or where there is a serious risk to someone's life or health.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to respond to you and to meet the practice's obligation to keep proper medical and business records. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted.

Your choices

You may decline to use the form and simply read the site. Every page, from the grades guide to the cost page, is readable without giving the clinic anything. So are the pages about the clinic itself, such as about Dr Sulaiman and surgery step by step.

If you have written in, you can ask for a copy of the personal information the practice holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. If you withdraw consent, the clinic may not be able to arrange or continue your care, and it will tell you if that is the case.

Keeping it safe

Information sent through this site travels over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, and this page does not claim otherwise.

Questions about privacy

For anything on this page, including a copy, a correction or withdrawing consent, contact the practice of Dr Sulaiman Bin Yusof on +65 8491 1525, or write in through the contact page and say it is a privacy request. If you are not satisfied with how a request has been handled, you can raise it with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission.
